Whatever you may be doing, and whatever
portion you may be reciting from the Qur'an, - and whatever deed you
(mankind) may be doing (good or evil), Allah (God) Almighty is a Witness
thereof, when you are doing it. And nothing is hidden from your Lord
(so much as) the weight of an atom on the earth or in the heaven.
Not what is less than that or what is greater than that but is (written)
in a Clear Record.
The Noble Qur'an (10: 61) |
If you want to really convince someone
that you wrote a book then you would say that "I know every
letter in the book". This would convince the other person since
you know every basic unit comprising the book. By the same
token, the creator (Allah (God) Almighty) gives this example in
the Noble Qur'an. Where He says that nothing is hidden from Him
in the heavens and the earth not even the weight of the atom.
This indicates that the basic unit from which matter in creation
is composed of is something called the atom as stated in the
Noble Qur'an. In addition to this, Allah (God) Almighty links
the weight of the atom to its description in the verse and not
any other property like its color, shape, etc. which means that
the weight of the atom is the most important property which
dictates all properties of the atom. |
