The Qur'anic Verse

Reflecting on it

Whatever you may be doing, and whatever portion you may be reciting from the Qur'an, - and whatever deed you (mankind) may be doing (good or evil), Allah (God) Almighty is a Witness thereof, when you are doing it. And nothing is hidden from your Lord (so much as) the weight of an atom on the earth or in the heaven. Not what is less than that or what is greater than that but is (written) in a Clear Record.

The Noble Qur'an (10: 61)

If you want to really convince someone that you wrote a book then you would say that "I know every letter in the book". This would convince the other person since you know every basic unit comprising the book. By the same token, the creator (Allah (God) Almighty) gives this example in the Noble Qur'an. Where He says that nothing is hidden from Him in the heavens and the earth not even the weight of the atom.
This indicates that the basic unit from which matter in creation is composed of is something called the atom as stated in the Noble Qur'an. In addition to this, Allah (God) Almighty links the weight of the atom to its description in the verse and not any other property like its color, shape, etc. which means that the weight of the atom is the most important property which dictates all properties of the atom.

Explanatory Notes

The figure shows the design of the basic building block of matter (i.e. the atom) as deduced from the Noble Qur'an.
The figure illustrates the design and arrangement of the ropes of energy within the heavens of the atom as described in details in the Noble Qur'an when Allah (God) Almighty states that the heavens contain weaved ropes, the shape of the electron, etc.

Allah (God) Almighty describes in the Noble Qur'an that creation is made in a process of assembly; thus heavier atoms (like Beryllium for example) are made from the assembly of lighter atoms (Hydrogen).
It is worth mentioning that all atoms are made from the assembly of the hydrogen atom which is the main atom in creation.

The heavens of all the atoms are formed from the assembly of a number of heavens of the hydrogen atom.
The assembly of the heavens of the hydrogen atoms creates pathways for the electrons to travel within.

The process of atomic fusion can be explained fully from the Noble Qur'an. Such that adding thermal energy to the atoms causes stripping of the electrons from the heavens of the atoms thereby reducing the magnetic repulsive field between them. Which causes the nuclei of the atoms to be joined together creating new heavier atoms.
